    This is not going to have EVERYTHING you will ever need in cake decorating. However, this kit does help you get started if you want to take the Wilton level one class for cake decorating. You can also get the level one course book and teach yourself. I think it’s a good starter kit. All of their kits are cheaper than if you bought the items individually. Very close to the same price as the craft stores like Hobby Lobby or Michaels.

    When I got the set it was three plus weeks after I had ordered it and the package was smushed and the box was broken. I would buy the set from Wilson, it is cheaper and gets there in perfect condition.

    After reading the reviews I went to Joanns to buy the products as the reviews stated they are cheaper at Joanns. When I got to Joanna the Kit was 24.99. I acutally can get it cheaper on Amazon. Maybe these were older reviews.

    I am in the first course for cake decorating and I did not actually buy this kit, as I already had most of the tips already. At my local craft store this kit is 24.99, but I could have purchased it with a 50% off coupon to drop the price. I agree that you need much more than what this kit includes to take this course. It is a bit diappointing. I hope that in future courses the cost does not keep rising!

    Save your money and buy one of the wilton kits that come with the caddy. This kit is not a good value. It doesn’t come with the practice sheets. You have to buy the book too. If you can get a coupon at Michael’s or Jo-Anns you can buy a kit at 50% or 40% off.
